Bucknall Workingmen's Club & Institute was a club located on Marychurch Road, which was formerly Church Road at the time of being built. It is no longer present and has since been demolished, with the site now being occupied by 5 detached houses.
The club was built on the site of Grove House. Bert Bentley, a local photographer to Stoke-on-Trent, has noted that this was the home of Dan Lewis of Hanley - who was describe as "a wholesale grocer in a big way". [2]

As Bucknall Workingmen's Club & Institute no longer exists, it is not possible to capture any photos. Instead, photos have been captured of the 5 detached houses that are situated on the land where the club once stood.
Samuel Bateman (Founder of Our Bucknall) has been able to capture these photos to be retained for the historical archive project on this website. Photos have been included here in a carousel. You can scroll through the gallery by using the left and right arrow keys on the side of each photo.
